I filed I-360 in October 2023 I have a sick relative so (humanitarian) added medical records and also (financial reason) i added copies of personal loans I took and credit card debts. and short personal statement

did you file 360 stand alone?

nah I-485 is held in abeyance switched from marriage based case to vawa

Congrats on getting it approved! :) Quick question.. 1. Was it a situation where you had a sick relative outside the U.S. and needed to travel to care for them? 2. And because your I-485 was held in abeyance, you didn’t receive the EAD or advance parole from it before?

@Ana sue No because I already have EAD and AP. but I still said I was going to go and visit, and also the financial stress of taking care of a sick relative abroad

I hope your relative is doing well. Did you request the expedite yourself or did your I-360 attorney handle it? I have heard that a congressman office can also submit one. How did you send your supporting evidence to USCIS?

how long did it take you to get a decision I have been waiting 33 days since it updated in the app that they received it and it’s been reviewed .i send it since August 2025

my decision came 30 days after. Mime wasn't favorable but I got a lawyer and he said my case is strong so we are appealing. To appeal the filing cost itself is $800

@Katrona Farrington oh wow that’s crazy. I’m really sorry about that. what was the reason for the denial? what docs did you something

every category of evidence they had a problem with...For example (the life insurance policy has our previous address rather than where we live now, the pics of the bruises including the pic where my tooth was knocked out didn't have a description) stuff like that. I believe this lawyer will get it sorted🙌🙏

@larry y I did through my Congressman office I tried doing it by myself but it didn’t work out

can u explain why it didn’t work out like what they said ?

@larry y they just never acknowledged it. it showed it was delivered because I mailed all the evidence and stuff but I didn’t hear anything back from USCIS

mine approved expedition 10 months ago and I haven't heard any desition I don't know what to Do. 44 months in
