noo not at all this is template they copy paste and send to everyone who do congressman/woman inquiry there are two options denied or approval they just mentioning that nothing to worry how many months? since you apply vawa? and how long it take them to answer that inquiry

no, that’s language they use to shield themselves from being sued incase someone interpreted their response as a guarantee to an approval. They can also not approve your case prior to a complete background check and thats why they said the previous approval was done in error as it was done prior to completion of the background check.

@Naomi N, No its doesn't mean you will be denied. I was in same situation after interview the IO said he will get back to Me, but I never heard from him, each time I called/wrote them they kept saying they are conducting Background and Security checks and until the required Background checks are completed before they can make Decision on my case. I contacted congressman they said the same thing to Congressman. I waited for 12 Months and they finally approved My 485 and I got My GC. So don't be scared, Background Checks is their normal process, unless someone has issues on his/her Background then they can denied the person. I wish you good luck to received Your approval

Your case will be approved after security checks, this is plain english. The initial approval was done in error with USCIS completing the background check, some the get some false hits when the run background checks on you and must followup to make sure you're note the one, so it takes time to resolve.

My lawyer recommended me to do mandamus , but I don’t want to do it. 1) it’s cost 5K 2) I know few applicants they are now in appeal process after mandamus , Four out of five accepted the noid and all denied after the noid. I know every applicant is different but I don’t want to get headache. if you have strong evidence I think it’s be good decision if you do mandamus . my lawyer told me I have strong case but I really don’t have 5K
