@A T Enough Evidence and I organized my case well. I made it easier for the officer to review and process.

@Jerry Jo I can’t remember but it was on the RFE I just followed insurrections. I used expedited shipping so they got it in about two days

@John Phillips congratulations. did your case status ever change from New card being produced to Case was approved? mine is still stuck on New card is being produced since Oct 4.

@My Green card is approved mine went from case was approved to card was mailed out. but the officer already told me I was approved from the interview. it went very well. He appreciated the fact and I had all my documents ready for him.

today I checked my status on I 485 it’s saying new card being produced am I getting my green card

@John Phillips Thanks for your reply. How did you manage to have the officer review a case within two years? I thought cases were taking three years. I could be mistaken.

@A T I am not sure but for my I-485 when it went over the required time I called USCIS told the robot Info Pass, spoke to a rep and inquired about my case 2 days later I got a notification for my interview. the call to USCIS definitely helped expedite it for sure

@John Phillips Got it on I-485. but I’m talking about a 360 VAWA case. how did you manage to get that approved in less than two years? How did you manage to have an officer review it in less than two years?

congratulations..I just need u to enlighten me...pls...RFE for medical was sent from uscis in April...I sent it in May 2024...before even before the approval of my vawa in Sept 2024...response to RFE has not been received from uscis..should I be concerned?since May

@John Phillips I wonder how long does it take after they received your medical and what kind of evidence or questions they asking for during the interview?

@ernest oaikhenan I think you should worry about it. It usually take only a week(7 days) the most based from my experience. I used express delivery to send it to them.

@grace spoke when I responded to the RFE by sending my medicals I didn’t get a response for months. I waited till it passed the assured time and Called USCIS “info pass” to inquire about my case a few days later I was scheduled for an interview. Sometimes depending on the officer and their case load. if you request an update on your case the officer will pick it up and push you to the next step.

@crim son it took a few months to hear back. I didn’t get any update until I called USCIS “info pass” and requested an update on my case. He asked me where and when we met. he asked about our first date and what we spoke about during the date. about the marriage, about the abuse, he asked what was the last straw that led to the end of the marriage. he asked if I have been in contact with my ex since the divorce. then he went on to ask the Yes or No questions from the I-485. asked about criminal record (just a misdemeanor) asked for the documents concerning the arrest and my divorce documents (the original certified copy) he went through all the documents to make sure he had everything. side note you need to have all your documents ready and organized it makes their work easier. he also cross checked to see if he had everything before I left. He was a very nice and chill officer. the interview didn’t last longer than 30mins

@crim son yes he did: the officer was very nice and very straight forward. when you carry yourself well. have your documents. and answer the questions probably. most times you will be good. I made sure I was organized and polite.
