vawa approval but I am unable to renew my drivers license and i485 not moving
.. I have been trying to renew my
drivers license for 3 months now but they keep
telling me they need a second verification. I was
able to put a call through to uscis but the officer
told me nothing is popping up on my profile that I
need to reach out to the Vermont center. this is
just so frustrating even after I got approved since April 2022. has anyone experienced anything like this

to renew my drivers license only thing I provide was my EAD social my bank card that was it

are you in California? I renewed my driver license with AB 60. You can search about AB 60 on Google. I'm pretty sure DMV doesn't know about it but you can ask.

@toomuch grace I have been on this since June and they keep telling me no response yet. I check uscis save check everyday but case is still under review….. I am just tired already

Do you have the actual approval notice to show the DMV? I'm in So. Fla. All I showed was the approval notice & EAD. If you don't have the EAD available the Vawa approval, SS# & a bill that shows your address should be enough. If all else fails, speak to a manager. a lot of those clerks don't know what's going on.

I have also Written letter on two different occasions but no response. my I-485 status still stays at “case was received” since 2019

Madness. I know it's easy for me to say but........keep yourself busy w/other things. This immigration journey will drive you mad if you allow it to. Stay busy. Anything else to distract you from this craziness.
