my Pd is 2017, marriage to USC my first interview was October 2018 and second interview was august 2019 till date I haven’t hear 👂 anything from them just renewing my EAD, expecting my 4th EAD now!

When did y’all get your EAD? I recently filed for VAWA, it’s been about 6 months. I got my prima facie in January and now I am waiting on my bio.

@ S Smith I’m abt same timeline as you are. some people with similar timeline already got their EAD. some of them without taking BIO. Hope we get ours pretty soon!

@kath rod I don’t know if you have an attorney but if you do, all notice will sent to their office so you don’t need to worry about. second, even if you don’t have attorney, you can put other address where it’s safe to use. mine took about a week to receive NOA after submission. hope it helps.

My attorney gets all my paperwork. My wife is getting treatment in another state and won’t be back anytime soon but I feel safer with my attorney getting all my paperwork.

@Nop nig same case with me I filed since March 2019 and still nothing yet, I keep renewing EAD why will they start processing mid 2019 and abandon earlier filers? does that mean they won’t attend to us anymore since they have passed those cases??

@The Chosen One..... My lawyer told me the president have spoken about the backlog and hopefully they will start reviewing older cases.

@ Victory Victory mine took abt 6.5month. PD 9/21/20. on Apr 2nd, since I could raise service request, my lawyer did it. Apr 7th case was accepted, and I had my card on hand on Apr 14th. I didn’t take BIO. Please go check EAD case processing time regularly, USCIS change their timeframe every month. I used to check everyday lol mine took longer than the others who has similar timeline so please stay positive!

@stacie k, I should have gotten mine ever since cuz I filed February of last year, but I think bcuz of the wrong category that's why it took this long. I did my biometrics April 8 of last year

@ Victory Victory if I remember correct, you filed under c31 right? c31 EAD doesn’t come until your I-360 is approved. it is common mistake many people do. you have taken your BIO already, it is most likely will be reused so don’t worry. if you have already filed under c9, you should get yours by or before Sep. I feel your frustration. Please look out for the receipt notice from USCIS upcoming mail, and make sure your EAD is under C9/ C9p

@ Victory Victory I’m happy as you are!!! just check processing timeline thorough lawfully app which I used to check every single days, it change every 15days or month I think.... I think this app is more easily to check on case processing time rather than going to USCIS website. they didn’t take my bio so that my combo card there is no fingerprint. they already took yours and have on file, plus you already have pending application so shouldn’t take that long which I’m hopeful!!

@ Victory Victory, with prima facie, you can apply for Medicaid, public assistance such as housing or food stamps and also apply to school if you are intended to do so.

@stacie k, where can I apply for food stamp, and how can I enter school without a social security number? please drive me through the process

@ Victory Victory food stamps;check your state site where you reside, there are source available to you, attach your PF approval notice along with your application. for the school; I’m sure you can apply with having no SSN but I’m not 100% sure for this one. However, many vawa applicant went back to school using PF to receive financial aid. if you are thinking about going to school, apply to them, show the PF notice, they can assist with you for sure.
