Are you still in the US while filing? The abuser will never no if you don't tell anyone close to him because USCIS don't notify them in the case of Vawa.

Nothing to worry about. If the tries, it just makes your case look even better to show his abusive ways. USCIS doesn’t pay attention to what they have to say.

he will not find out. don't live close to him, change phone number, change facebook, stay low key and don't tell anybody you filed for vawa

worry not. when you file vawa all the big government agencies are notified about you and protection against deportation. your case is protected, you just take good care for yourself and relax.

yes mine understood it by him self , they know what's going on because they are researching how can they deport us and they learn about vawa in general, and he filed a sham annuelment same time I was filing divorse and served me first just to drag out my divorse and cost me financial hardship with the idea that he could harm my vawa as well and deport me, of course annuelment got denied but he keeps dragging my divorse out by appeal the annuelment all this has been continued for 4 years they are continuing the abuse by playing the system and the system excepts it because lawyers -courts are getting payed,also he went to uscis and filed fake tips for me stating lies, also he became more aggressive and revengeful he was harassing me and threatening me and breaking my doors for a long time I live with cameras ever since being afraid for my life and not been able to work cause he is harassing me everywhere he is a paranoid obsessive maniac i developed ptsd and the process shouldn't been that long because for some of of us that have been and still being terribly abused after years, ead s means nothing, what we need is our green cards faster in order to be able to spend more times with our families abroad and heal and take distance from abusers!!! I know vawa will have better timeline in the upcoming years especially without all this asylum cases being processed in the same service centers as vawa victims but for us fillers after 2020, the timeline was a un unfair nightmare a 4 years of complete waste for some that were unable to work or for those that their work has to do with traveling. please stay safe cut any comunication and install cameras everywhere like me🙏🏻 I noticed your vawa got approved so only thing you got to be worry is your safety
