I like to educate myself about immigration laws, and around October 2025 I realized that the attorney filed the I-765 under category C31, which means you will not receive employment authorization until VAWA is approved. I confronted the attorney, and she resubmitted it at no extra charge under category C09, which applies when you have filed for adjustment of status. Make sure your application is filed under the correct category, or contact your attorney to confirm.

you may not be seeing it yet,you know there’s little change on everything since last year,I believe you will get it soon if truly your Attorney summit your I-765 together the same time because a lot of time some issues come from our Attorney not from them because in my own time,that’s how I continue waiting for EAD without knowing that my law is not submitted together and I pay for full package and I was got delayed for like 2years before I know that my lawyer is not submitted it together and I did it quick and I received it under 6month

some attorney believes that until when your VAWA get approved before they will send your I-765 ,I have to force my own attorney my own attorney to fill the form and I make sure that I mail the package by myself ,I even surprise that my attorney not did it before before until I find out by myself and take the necessary steps to get it

so far you received your prima facial before and your attorney submit the package,you will surely receive it soon,just ask your attorney with style to confirm
