vaccination and blood tests
Hi Folks,
Do you guys know if it’s possible to take the shots and the blood work through health insurance and take the results to the civil surgeon? Anyone did do that? Thanks

@Yas I any advice on how to spot and be away from scammer doctors?

shots will be covered by health insurance. You can take shots from CVS or Walgreens after your doctor recommends the shots.
Talk to your doctor if he will accept bloodwork from 3rd party. if done from 3rd party, it will be covered by insurance. But if your doctor provides them, most likely those won’t be covered by insurance. talk to your doctor beforehand

@Bohemian R do you mean the immigration doctor, right? I saw one that charges too much for each vaccine. So, I got a little confused. Bc the appointment is 250, but with all vaccines and blood tests will be 700.

@Li S yes, I mean immigration doctor.
$250 for appointment sounds reasonable.
you can do the blood test and vaccines from somewhere else and health insurance should cover them.

@Li S I did my vaccines in Walgreens and they were way cheaper (I'll have to look thru my files and see how much exactly, but wasn't expensive)
