USPS has lost my EAD card
I got my EAD card approval notice in 8 july, and the card was mailed in 18 July. In 21 july, tracking shows that the card is at my local post office.
But the United state post office has lost the EAD card during delivery. So, I did not receive the card. I have filed a complain to USPS but it has been more than 3 days and they did not respond ( they supposed to respond within 3 working days).
What should I do now ???

Did they confirm you the mail has been lost ?
Also did you file the request to search the mail? ( they respond within 3-4 business day after you put the request )
If no progress then it’s lost. Ask your attorney about what’s next .

it happened the same thing with my husband. they delivered in a totally different address that I have no idea where it is. we called uscis and they said that the EAD card is unique and has no copies and for that he would need to pay the form again and start over. at the end we got the EAD because I called the post office manager and he was able to go to the address and get the mail from the other’s person mail box in time, but it was 🍀

@gabi tzu then this is terrible news for me 🥲🥲🥲. because USPS has already searched possible all addresses around the small town.
now if USCIS forces me to go through again and need to pay again although it is not my fault, then it will be a hell lot of suffering.

you can asked for the number of EAD with your lawyer. I think they might have it. I lost my cardtoo but I use the number on the letter if it. when I go to work

@shiblee mir I really hope USPS find yours. I know exactly what you’re feeling right now. try to go to The closest usps and see exactly where they delivered. maybe they have the driver who delivered and they can ask..

@gabi tzu yes. after I joined in their extensive search and found that they had delivered in a wrong place. luckily I live in a small town of 6000 people .
