my advice to you will be a short one. believe it or not, USCIS can easily make a mistake in writing down your address on the priority mail. YES it happens!!! . So, please go to your local USPS in person tomorrow first thing in the morning with your IDs and the tracking number and complain. They might help you get it but whatever you do, please don’t let them take it BACk !!!!

@ca bug….: No, don’t wait. my SSN didn’t get to me because they made a mistake on my address. I knew it when I went to the office to complain. they told me USCIS mailed it together with my EAD but the address shown on their system didn’t include the apartment number (somebody was lazy in writing the whole address on the USPS mail package)

the thing is when USCIS sent the card, the package immediately showed up in my USPS Infromed Delivery account , I assume they put the correct address. I can speculate that it’s USPS driver was lazy enough or forgot to put it in my mailbox yesterday and they just sent it back 🤬

same thing happened to me but was lucky enough to drive down to the post office when the tracking said undeliverable to address the mistake came from the uscis there was no apartment number on it when i picked it up .

@olasim did you go the same day when they attempted delivery? I went to the usps office today but it was closed because it’s Sunday

@ ca bug tomorrow first thing call the post office and have them hold your card for pick up if you have the tracking number. (this will let you know exactly which post office has it) give it to them that way if the card is scheduled to be returned to USCIS they can pull it and keep it for you to pick it up. take a government issued picture ID to pick it up. all the best

this happen to me earlier this month I have to called the 1800 number and ask them to resend it and they did.. got it back in two weeks

Is unfortunate they seem not to understand the frustration they cause to applicants. Upon updating my address change online,a notice was sent to my old address,and later returned to uscis because post office could not deliver it. Waiting for months or years,only for someone negligence to notice address change and cause more frustration is just unpardonable. unfortunately there is no way one can question them because they hold the key to your future.

guys I went to the usps office and they don’t have it, I caught mailman in from of my building he also didn’t have it , usps told me that will call me if they locate it , I’m fucking desperate how on earth they’ve lost the package 🤦🏽‍♀️😭

so in this country, basically everything that is not you, wants to stress your life you pray hard for approval from USCIS. After God listen to your prayer and it’s approved, you have to also pray very very haaaaard for USPS to get the delivery right. like what the F*******ck 🤦🏾‍♂️ SMH
