USCIS reopened my case couple days after denying
is there anyone that has gone through something like this. so my case was denied a couple days ago and I have plans on doing a motion to reopen after consultation with my attorney next week. But to my surprise, my case was suddenly reopened by USCIS “On XXX, 2026, we reopened your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number IOE0xxxxxxxx, and resumed work on your case. We will mail you a notice when further action is taken. “
Was I denied by mistake? what is going on?

indeed they make a mistake don't see the lawyer until you get the letter or you could see the lawyer twice ( now and when you get the letter).

@shenni law I contacted customer service, they said USCIS might have changed their mind on Denying. I hope and pray that’s the case.i have consultation with my lawyer next week so will discuss this new change .

@bbb s USCIS denied the petition because they concluded there was insufficient evidence to establish that the marriage was bona fide and found discrepancies regarding our shared residence, particularly the validity of our 2023 lease.
