USCIS New Policy Update regarding fees
What’s Changing • New payment method available now: Applicants can pay fees by ACH debit (a direct debit from a U.S. bank account) using the new Form G-1650, Authorization for ACH Transactions. The form must be signed and placed on top of the application packet when filing. • Transition period (now – Oct. 28, 2025): USCIS will continue to accept: • Paper checks • Money orders • Credit/debit card payments (via Form G-1450) • ACH debit (via Form G-1650) • After Oct. 28, 2025: Applicants will only be able to pay fees by: • ACH debit (Form G-1650) • Credit card (Form G-1450) Paper checks and money orders will no longer be accepted #uscis #uscisupdate #uscisfee #eb2niw #eb1.
