Uscis
I recently received EAD approval and have officially started working. I’ve been told that I must report my job to Uscis and must stay with current employer. is this accurate? I received EAD through Adistment Of Status through marriage.

no you don't have to. your ead card says no condition. its only those like student ead that have to report their employment

I don't believe that applies to our category. It's probably for people on Employment Based Visas. What we have to do from what I heard is to get a job within a certain time of our EAD being issued. Hopefully someone shares more details on the matter

@Sept 16th, 2022 Is it mandatory to have a job with the EAD or is it our choice while I-485 is pending?

@lully Laby someone mentioned that in a Facebook group but I never saw anything from USCIS stating that. I was just happy to start making money when I got mine 😄
