USCIS informed that it had got my RFE Response. Since then, no update on the case. What should I do?
Dear Community!
On Jul 31, 2021 I received the RFE Request (Medical Exam). I sent the envelope to my lawyer, and he sent it to USCIS. Then, the status of my case is following:
On August 27, 2021, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number [Receipt Number]. USCIS has begun working on your case again. We will send you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
There is no update since then up to today's date, Jan 20, 2022. What should I do? I have also written to the Congressman's Representative 2 days ago, but no response yet.

There was an issue with your medical exam or the RFE was because it was missing (not included)?

Yes, it was missing initially.

my case is from 3rd August 2020... also I-485 EB1C TSC. but at least your got your RFE for medicals, I didn’t get even that :(

I think you can ask a USCIS agent over live chat to perform a "follow-up" on the case status if it has been 60+ days since they have received your RFE response. I just submitted a follow up request today and have received a referral number for the follow-up.

I did so. They just answered that my case was on the follow-up, and they processed all cases by the order they had been receiving.

Our date is the same as yours (August 27th) and nothing has happened since. I now involved our congressman. Hoping it will speed things up.

We are also EB1-1 in TX by the way but our start date was June 16th, 2020 so we should technically be a bit ahead of you. Will let you know when we hear something.

hi @Sarah Bee: it means your receipt date is already allowing you to raise a service request for outside processing time. have you done that, and was it successful?

Yes, we did that the day it was out or normal processing times. We did raise one last week Wednesday and another one this Monday. Plus our congressman raised one on my behalf (either last Friday or Monday this week). How long would it take to hear back? Our lawyer said the USCIS is ignoring all requests.
