USCiS error
I file for my mom and stepfather. My mom i130 just got approved but they are requesting more evidence for my stepfather. I got a letter yesterday the evidence that they need us a DNA among other things to prove he is my dad. The application clearly stated that I am petitioning for my stepdad. I am 41 he got married to my mom when I was 8yrs old. I don't know what to do, any advice?

do the dna test , write back to them stating he’s not your day tell them that you stated that on your application send back a copy of your birth certificate and his one. just to make sure .

But I shouldn't have to do a DNa test. He is not my dad and the application states that. I have his birth certificate, marriage certificate etc all these documents were sent to them
