USCIS already deducted payment for i-824
two weeks ago i was sent I-824 form with payment to USCIS, Yesterday they did deducted payment. that means i can hope they will forward my case to NVC?

my first question is why did you file i-824? it takes forever to get back to you. if you kept a copy of your i-130 you would have had evidence that you indicated that your beneficiary will apply for i-485 at the local overseas consulate. That's the proof you need yo send to ombudsman and USCIS will immediately forward your case to NVC

@Be patient and calm USCIS was mentioned in the approval notice if beneficiary is inside the USA then need to file i-485 & if beneficiary is outside the USA then need to file i-824.

@Be patient and calm I don't think will work that way. I-824 is the only way to fix his mistake and transfer his case to nvc

1 824 takes an average of 6 months or less but with uscis stretched out by this administration you never can tell, Potomac is 6months

@👑 Mayor Of L.A 👑 I did not write any letter for i-824. I just use my I-130 approval notice letter which was got from USCIS. and attached i-824 form with credit card payment method.
