I created my account a week ago and they haven’t sent it. Maybe is it because I didn’t file online?

But I’m not asking for the verification code that they ask to enter the account. I refer to the one that you have to provide when you try to link your receipt number. from what it says, USCIS would provide that somehow and I got nothing on my email or mail address

the verification code will be requested each time you access your USCIS account. every time will send you a different one on your email.

you should receive the code to the phone u have on file

or the phone number you used to create ur account

You can call USCIS and ask for ELIS technical support. They will provide a code for you over the phone. Sometimes you receive it in the mail but I never received one so I had to call. I also filed by mail and I received an IOE receipt number but couldn’t add it to my account without the uscis account access code.

I filed by mail and my code was on my first receipt notice. It expires after 90 days if you don't use it while creating an account.

they gonna send you one more mail. that mail have your code it gonna expire after 90 days.

I’m guessing you have receipt number starting with IOE? the same thing happened to me. you’ll get a letter in the mail with the code… entering the code verifies you and allows you to see and download both any documents you provided and any notices you got in the mail in regards to this case.
