It depends on your circumstances, my husband applied for his citizenship in 2/14/2020. He had his interview in april 2021, he didn't get decision right after because my husband when he was young stupid and immature, had 2 WDUI's, street fights, loud car radio, open container charges. Officer requested more evidence asking for all dispositions documents from the court with outcome, USCIS extended review for all those problems my husband had when he was young. Finally on March 24 his oath ceremony is scheduled.

@ But I thought they go back only 5 years prior to submitting your n400.. how long did he has these charges?
Lisa ModhwadiaMar 2, 2022
@ Kebs Kebs in Inmigration, criminal record is going to follow the applicant for life. He had those charges almost 20 years ago.

@Lisa wow!! 20years? that was a long time
Lisa ModhwadiaMar 2, 2022
@ Kebs Kebs I know is crazy, my husband had to look for all those disposition papers from the court and certified. I took more than 2 years to get citizenship is insane, where is the technology in the "most developed" country in the world?
