US VISA - I-130(immediate relative)
my father is A US CITIZEN and he sponsored me and my brother. I got my visa this month because i got expedited due to reaching 18 yrs old soon by the NVC themselves. I did my interview and get my visa as well.
my brother’s case is DQ (documentary qualified) today 29/june/2023 and he is waiting his visa appointment in US EMBASSY ANKARA.
can we both go to US together? if we request it from NVC.
there is huge backlog in US EMBASSY ANKARA and mostly likely he is gonna wait 1 year for his interview. is there a way to prevent that waiting and go together.

No, he has to wait till his priority date is current or a visa is available for that visa category.

my case has been expedited to because the child is turning 18 soon . Case was sent to embassy on June 6 but no appointment letter yet. how long did it take you to get yours? Thank you

@rauf Abdul we waited one month (30days) after NVC expedited our case . so probably upcoming week july 5-7.

@la la it was expedited case as i told above so we waited 1 month for the interview . but regular cases the wait time for the interview is 5-10 months.
