does anyone know how long it takes to get an appointment after documentarily qualified from u.s embassy in Malaysia?

Not sure for Malay but Indo we got interview letter within 10days of DQ and interview was about 6weeks from letter.

why don't you just ask the embassy? most embassies also have the interview wait time for immigrant and non-immigrant visas on their website
