US Citizen filing for spouse
Filed Feb 2023 and has been actively reviewed since April 2023. Today I checked my USCIS online account, it says 5 wks more for a decision. How accurate is that information? Missing my spouse terribly 😔🙏

Hi Aymi, it's an account that you set up on the USCIS website. Cases that you've filed will show up there and it'll give some updates on your cases.

bro chima I did the inquiry about 40 days ago no update from them so know 18th my wife contacted them again bcos they did it before and now a lady responded from uscis telling us she will send another inquiry unfortunately on 18 I saw and update on my other app that our case was send wish didn't appear the first they did on 19th I saw 3 me message on the same app but this morning I just saw the message on the both app that I was approved , and I'm going to nigeria by month ending I don't know if it will cause a delayed or anything for me bcos I don't know if they will bring me a message or I will go for the next step before I will be receiving message

ours was from Nebraska as well approved at 358 days about 1 year to go through

sadly the processing time is not accurate at all. mine took about 550 days for approval. I’ve seen people wait less time and I’ve seen people wait far longer. it depends truly on your case alone. nobody’s case is the same. best of luck and I hope you get a decision soon.

Wishing you luck, hopefully you will get approved soon.
I filed in early March and got an active review a few days later. For me in the myProgress tab it counted six months from March and then changed to “Your Case Is Taking Longer than Expected.” It seems that some people get approved before this countdown while others are like me and it changes. Hopefully you will get your approval in these weeks since others from Jan and February have been approved.
