I just think he got lucky. I have applied for both my Mother and brother. For mom, I was waiting for a year which is normal so I think when they reviewed her file, they found my brother's file there too as both are in the same online account and they looked at it. That is all I can think of. But again unfortunate part is that I have made a mistake for both of them by not confirming if they are outside US which is now costing me another almost $1000 for I-824. I still think even from here on they will go by the priority date but you never know he gets lucky again. Many duas by the way. 🙂

I had sent in our W2s for last 2 years. Then there is a Family tree document which shows all of your family members. Birth Certificates of mine, brother's and mom's.

Now after the approval, is it normal to say Case Closed in my USCIS account?

yes, once its approved it says closed
