urgent: out of normal processing times Nebraska update!!!
hello everyone, if you are in the Nebraska service center and your filing for the i-130, you should call USCIS to check to see if they have transferred you to a different service center. I was outside of the normal processing times for the Nebraska service center for my i-130 and try to submit a reform but was rejected. I called and found out that they had transferred me to the Texas service center which is another 5 to 7 months wait. if you are in the Nebraska service center and do not know why your case has not been processed yet, I recommend calling and asking.

I am the exact same situation as you are right now. My receipt notice from July 23, 2021 was addressed from Nebraska. Today I just found out through the "Ask Emma" function on the website that our case was sent to Texas the same day we got our receipt notice without them notifying us.

@LaTravia Chima online it says that they must notify us if they transfer us and it will not increase our wait time, so I think they have done something wrong by doing this to all of us

yeah I think they no they messed up so they keep saying that it is normal. but their website specifically says that they will notify us if they change our service center and then it will not add to our time. so somebody's a little mixed up here and I'm fairly certain it's their mistake
