no. u have to upload and they will give you the green light to submit. if they are satisfied the green light wont appear. so i think the online process is simple, fast and convenient amd you will get a receipt notice online same day

Yes. but do u feel it makes your case slower because u keep uploading more?

Uploading your case online doesn't slow the process down. If anything, it makes it go quicker because you aren't stuck in a lockbox or waiting for them to add physical paper to your file. Uploading more evidence is helpful because it can prevent an RFE, if the evidence is actually relevant and helpful to your case. Don't be concerned about slowing your case down. Think about this- if you don't upload it, and they need more, you will get an RFE or an NOID which brings you back a few steps and prolongs the time to a decision.

@Jay Jay- that's my job LOL It's why I love practicing immigration law. Always happy to help make the process even just a little less stressful!

@Cuban Rican- you're not slowing the process down. The process is inherently slow already. Throw a pandemic on top of that and it's a recipe for disaster. You also have to be mindful of your priority date for visa eligibility. That comes into play. You can usually check on the website to see what date they are processing.
