I sent some in September and they don’t seem to even acknowledge it. Not a big deal but I feel like once they have your initial application then they won’t even bother checking any new updates.

uploading documents without them asking for it ,it will slow you processing time by you giving them extra work

I uploaded all of my documents online when they told me what I needed to send them. I could’ve sent them physically in the mail but I heard that they look at documents quicker if they are submitted online rather than physically sending them. and it’s true. when they requested more evidence I submitted it on my USCIS account and they approved it the next day. not sure if this answered your question but I hope it helped. just don’t submit things that are unnecessary. only submit the things that they ask for.
