Upload Unsolicited Evidence
My derivative’s passport copy that we submitted with the AOS application back in Jan-2025 has expired in Aug-2025, should we upload the new passport copy in the “unsolicited evidence” section?
looking for input from folks who have uploaded evidence on their own.

@Ashley M you should upload. short term you will see timeline change and it will come back. sometimes it will nudge the reviewer. I have done for my rfe docs.

@Ashley M - same boat as you. let me know what's your final plan. my lawyer is yet to respond about it. Will let you know what they say

@black blazer My company lawyer is not very helpful this is their reply “USCIS has recommended against submitting unsolicited documents. However, you may upload the document if you wish. There is no downside or upside to uploading the document.
As USCIS continues to process your case, only they can determine if and when they require additional information.”
