what fees did you have to pay at the end?

congrats! how did you know it was sent to NVC? my case was approved on 8/25 and still haven’t received credentials or anything to be able to login to NVC to pay fees, submit documents, etc. Any help would be appreciated!

@ana ferreira if you doing consular processing you need to pay the AOS and DS-260 processing fees, $120 for ASO and $325 for each DS-260.

@S M you can check on your uscis account if they sent your approval to NVC and when NVC received it, they would sent you and your beneficiary an email with the NVC case’s information. read your approval notice and see if they would sent it to NVC, sometimes people make mistakes filling out the I-130 and they don’t states that they want to do consular processing, so uscis won’t send you approval to nvc

@N Espinal where do you check in USCIS for NVC sent date? does it come up in documents or does it come through as an update to case?

@cazza L it come up on the uscis online account, once NVC received and create your case they’ll sent you an email, and email to you beneficiary as well

@N Espinal we got the transferred to NVC on 31st August. no welcome letter yet. your timeline says you got yours on the same day, is that correct?

@cazza L yes, same day the sent it to nvc I got the welcome letter

@N Espinal that's a shame it's been 9 days now and nothing. I know they say allow up to 45 days but we are so impatient now after waiting over a year for the 1-130 alone 🙈

@Miguel L , did you complete the DS 260 online or send it by mail? You can’t upload anything until they process the payment. After the payment is processed, you can do everything through the portal.
