Hi @jimmy .., I do a lot of research online. There’s multiple websites that I look at and compare and ofc there’s no guarantee that everything is 100% right but that’s why I compare instead of just using 1 website.

this is a bit misleading. USCIS approves cases in all blocks all the time. yes rhey work kinda in batches but it’s not a rule at all. everyone should go to casestatusext.com on their computer (not on mobile phone it doesn’t work) and you can see for your block number how many cases are approved/processing etc and then you can see the daily updates by block. theres cases approved every day for old blocks and new. literally no way to know when yours is going to be approved

@w s Yes that’s a good website. Look at others as well tho. I was just stating that the mentioned receipt block has received a lot of approvals this week compared to others :)

I just want to put emphasis on the fact that a lot of different cases are getting approved every day, I just choose those that have a really big peak compared to others. Also, remember that every case is different and has to be evaluated differently due to the complexity etc.

yea agreed that 186 is getting a bunch of approvals right now but blocks behind it still have “case received” as the status. its kinda infuriating. I would be happy to wait one year if I knew I would be processed in the order received but the fact that this feels like a lottery is really frustrating

@Blythe Kim Not everone in a specific receipt block gets approved on the spot. A lot of cases in that receipt block have been approved tho, stay patient and trust God!

@w s yes, I agree with you. A lot of blocks that are behind are still “stuck” and that sucks. I just want to give updates on which case numbers are getting worked through at this moment of time (and in the future). I hope and pray that they will have a bit more organization. @TMT Win Oh, thank you for the info! This is basically saying that according to what you emailed them your case is eligible to be expedited. “Adjudication” basically means that they still have to make a formal decision. Processing time varies but “should” be around 45 days. So wait some more. After that you should try calling USCIS and inquire information about your expedite request. You could also use EMMA the virtual assistant in the meantime :)

@amber tahir I can’t give you a definite answer because I’m not USCIS but I see on the statistics that, like every other case number, cases are getting approved but it’s not in a “large quantity” (compared to 186 for example). I know you probablyy know this, but approvals also depends on the complexity of your case etc. When did you file? Mid 2022 - January 2023?

@Elsa Carvajal Yes, that’s a shame. USCIS needs to speed everything up for sure. Do you have an attorney? As long as you’re not over the “inquiry date” stated on their website they won’t respond, sadly.

@emma ben I see that around 50% of the cases have been approved so far, this weeks chat shows some more cases getting approved but it’s not that much compared to “186”. According to the statistics they’re focused on cases received in Nov and Dec 2022. That’s doesn’t meant they’re not working on other cases tho. Don’t get discouraged!

@Nolitha Uluwita You will be approved at some point, that’s not what I’m trying to say. I know a lot of websites only display 09 cases but I will look into it and tell you if I found something, don’t worry :) I can’t tell you a specific date tho. USCIS has their own working system :/ Coming back to the “California Center question”: most IOE cases move around in the USCIS system which means that people from other service centers might look into it as well. Digital = moving around faster, easier access!

@Nolitha Uluwita I was busy but now I’m back! I unfortunately couldn’t find much info about IOE-93-135. I only found one statistic stating that IOE-93-135-5… cases “should” be 100% done by 519 days. I don’t know if you fall into this category? IOE9 cases are hard to research and there aren’t many sources online, unfortunately :( I hope it helped you a little bit! P.S. according to that number no cases have been approved in the last 7 days. I think I already said this before in this chat but they are currently working on Nov and Dec 2022 cases.

@Emily Truong They are currently working on cases receivedved in Nov and Dec of 2022. Some cases starting with IOE-09-208 are still getting approved but it’s not the majority. Cases with that number are getting processed (around 7.8k) and 5.7k cases with that number are still on “received”. Thw initial number of cases was ~16k (everything that is not “received” or “processing” is in a different category like “RFE”, “denied”, “approved” etc.).

@maria merchan Your PD has to be “current” or before the “PD” stated on the Visa Bulletin for “All countries”. A green card case cannot be completed (approved) unless your priority date is earlier than the Final Action Date listed on the Visa Bulletin. I hope it helps!

@Oriana N There are some approvals for every “case block”, you filed in Dec 2021 which means that most cases have been approved so far with a few still processing. This is due to case complexity etc. Also, what is your field office?

@shaday escoto It always says that on the website, you get 6 months, 5 months, 2 months then 4 weeks and as soon as it gets lower than that the website always says “taking longer than expected”. You can’t trust the website tbh! Most cases are done within ~11 month (looking at different information).

@Maribel Grimaldo I assume you filed I-130. There are “216” cases getting approved but it’s not the majority. I said it many times on here but most cases take ~11 months to be approved but it can vary depending on your case complexity :) Hope it helps a little bit!

@jimmy .. This post was for I-130 but I can look into I-485 as well. I obviously won’t be able to tell you exactly when it will be approved because I’m not a USCIS officer but I can give you an estimate. You also have to keep in mind that every case is different and yours may be approved faster or slower than the majority of cases in your “group” based on the complexity of your case!

@jimmy .. I can see that about 6,500 cases have your recipe block about half of them already got an answer (e.g. denied, approved, withdrawn etc.) the other half is still processing.

@Tamara Toribio ..I thought i130 and i485 are concurrently filed....well in my own case it was filed together 1st week of January 2023....rfe on i130 and i485 (medical) received in July and responded to in August( shows received on my status).. service request after 60 days was done..... currently on the last week for another service request of 30 days.... however, i765 was approved on the first week of the second 30 days service request......just wanna know when i485 will be approved

@jimmy .. It depends, it’s because you’re in the US. Some people gp through consular processing (meaning they are waiting to be approved outside of the US). It also depends if you filed both at the same time. I also see that most people have their I-130’s approved before the I-485.
