Yea finally got added to the whatsapp group for cr1/ir1 cases looks like most pole r transferring to lome togo To submit a transfer u need a residence permit a police report if u r more than 6 months in the country

I'm planning to transfer mine but need a POC first to do a residence permit for me before I can. initiate the process

My last submission was in September and from the NVC website and all the timelines I've seen it takes at least 2 months for them review documents sent. I'm praying they don't find anything wrong and just DQ

I think togo and Abidjan is better than Ghana

A lot of people keep transferring so I just hope the nvc don't start denying people if the transfer rate gets abnormal

Thank you so much Dennis! I'm definitely going to transfer. I actually want to do it before I get DQd which likely will be next month so I need to move fast. I don't want to deal with the Ghana embassy at all. I want NVC to take responsibility for the transfer because I'm worried the Ghana embassy will delay the transfers too. I agree seems everyone is transferring to these countries and that makes me worried. Wish I knew what the situation is like in other West African countries.

Hope y'all are aware of this website https://visawhen.com/consulates/lome/cr1ir1 You can search for how many visas are being given in every embassy. It helps you to guess (not accurately but) if they are still backlogs at an embassy. Its very helpful because the source is the US statement website info they share every month and confirmed that with random checks

if they are issuing about 40 in Ghana they are backed up by say 400 that's averagely about 10 months. do you know how far back up they are?

Unfortunately there's no way to know for sure. But comparatively these countries are issuing more visas now than they did before covid on the average. But for Ghana the numbers have drastically reduced

In Ghana they focused heavily on the visitors and students that's how come they were able to reduce that back log

@ Ajara osman Please help me to understand you. Am from Gh and DQ. Your last marriage that ended, where is that divorce certificate the court granted to you?

. There should be a court stamp, judge name and a registrar/judge signature on it. Mine was like that. It’s kind of confusing why they rejected the divorce cert.
