I applied for my father to change his status in August 2023 and only the Social Security and the work permit came through. Will it take long for 131 to arrive?

@Cintia Carla you never know with them. For some it goes fast and for some it takes forever. I received work permit in 2 months and now it has been a year and have not been approved I-131

@Ivan R @Cintia Carla I applied June 2023 got work permit straight away but I haven’t heard anything about i131 since June..

@F RB you should submit case inquiry if it is outside normal processing time

@Ivan R We received the case approval letter for I-131, I just understand why it didn't come with a work permit.

I also inquired early January for AP outside of normal processing time, also received notice today informing me that due to workload, it is outside of normal processing time… 🤦🏻‍♂️

@Ivan R congrats! I submitted a second service request and received different wording on reply “will process your request and respond by April 2” so… I guess this may be different 😂
