UNFAIR IN SO MANY LEVELS
like seriously what’s going on in Uscis. A US citizen waiting 443 days for child under 18 while many of permanent residents got approved in 300-380 days . this system is broken and wast of time for many people. #california #center

immigration is a right not a privilege. The point is that that child was no ab initio, an American. The process hurts everybody and this youe attitude of entitlement makes it more hurtful for some of us who are on Eb1a and still waiting for long.

That is bad enough, and I truly feel for you and your family. But what really rubs my rubarb is when I see corporations apply for foreign labor get approved in days that can be measured in double digits. Then our government (both parties) claim that families are what's most important. I wouldn't say that immigration idxa right as a blanket statement. But I will say that American families have an absolute right to be together. I endured many months separated from my family during my military career. (it was a major contributor to the destruction of my first marriage). But USCIS has now kept my family seperated longer than the Army ever did.

@Adam, you hit the nail on the head. My child is a part of me, so long he’s under 16yrs. It is the government/USCIS that needs to buckle up and keep their ducks in a row. As a US citizen, I have the right to apply and bring my immediate family, esp my spouse/and child to be with me… this is simply fulfilling the saying- “in pursuit of life and happiness”. We are doing it the right way, we are not trying to cross the border illegally, so I wonder why we are not been treated fairly and quickly as citizens.

I understand your frustration, because based on their processing times American citizens filing for an immediate relative processing times are less than any other category, so how is it that the other caterogies get through before? they said the the visas for immediate family of an American citizen are unlimited so why so much delays??? it’s frustrating and I know that everyone that is waiting regardless of category must be frustrated…. it’s just all a mess and people are suffering

@ key 4. Exactly , regardless i’m happy some of us got approved no matter their category but uscis need to be more precise about what they are stating in their processing times so no one would disappoint. I hope you’ll got approved soon we are on the same boat thanks for your opinions .
