NO EAD for 21 months. 86 days after interview.... sent expedite request for i 765, got ignored again (3 rd time for last year). now I have more health issues than before... I do not have drivers license no SSN. did my job( paid all fees( around 2000$), paper work with lawyer (another 5000$), got nothing from USCIS. people applied for EAD 2 weeks ago in 2025 got it, but not me, who is waiting since 2023. sick and tired of this BS...husband is USC is working double shifts to pay our bills. have more bills because of my health issues. Just got MRI, waiting on my surgery, waiting on my dentist also( tremendous pain for 2 years( can not afford dentist)), husband had a car accident couple years ago( he needs spine surgery), work doubles with pain just to survive. if he goes to surgery we will not be able to pay our bills. thanks USCIS for your awful job!!!! By the way my husband ex air force, was working for 20 years a sheriff in Florida.

we did. we asked for help 2 different senators!! 1 in August 2024, another one in January 2025. no help

you can raise inquiry by contacting uscis toll free no:, one of my friend raise inquiry by calling them, he got his work permit on 10th day after raising inquiry

@Viktoriia G the best option is contacting the ombudsman, be sure you will hear back from them. They helped me with my EAD time ago.

every day we hope maybe tomorrow eventually I will get something from USCIS. every day for 21 months no news, no changes

some other people suggest to keep calling USCIS. I do not know if it really helps, but one can try calling periodically

Viktoriia, am so sorry to hear about this unfair treatment. I am equally frustrated with them after 3 years but I have an EAD so I can’t imagine your frustration! I hope the Obdusman goes through soon. They might also just want to grant you the Greencard at once without the EAD but they need to communicate back

When you call the USCIS #, tell them that you lost your receipt so that they get you to speak directly to someone
