Unemployment duration
Hello folks
My 180 day extension ended on Nov 14 ie My was extension of 180 day ended and I cannot work officially as my employer would need ead for I 9 verification purposes
I was waiting waiting and my card got approved on Jan 6
so this duration from Nov mid to Jan does it account for unemployment time. ?
I was unemployed since uscis took more than 180 days to get ead decision

y k - unemployment counts from the moment you stop a job (for whatever reasons) until the moment you start a new job.
in some cases, it might not count. for instance if you were out waiting for your paperwork and your employer did not let you go officially. in that case you were employed without pay (if they didn't pay you).
