@Johana Almeida better to go premium, if your COB India than fine else go with premium. lawyers will always suggest but final decision will be yours

wow 😞

Go premium, I have the same date as you, I waited till May and did premium. they will give a decision in 15 business days. I got mine in 9 business days and did my AOS in early June. Pay premium and do AOS as soon as you can because it's more wait time when you get to AOS, the sooner you file the better. I remember we both were waiting for approval for I-140

@Johana Almeida a strong case won't have any issues with approval if you switch to premium. lawyers wants easy cases and thus why they avoid premium

dates started to retrogress .. if you are in the US and have extra cash .. ignore you lawyer

@mak dely @k m @Alyssa Keys But can he still do premium even though he already responded to an RFE?
A IJul 27, 2025
@Johana Almeida My lawyer did the same thing, he even charged me extra to discourage me from using premium processing because he believed it would trigger an RFE. But after doing my own research, I found that’s not true at all. I actually got an approval two years ago really quickly with premium, and it was honestly the best decision I made during my immigration process. I’ve used premium for three different cases now, and with how slow the system is, it’s been worth every penny.

@S s yes, he can do premium anytime and for eb2, premium timeline will be 45 days, not 15 days.
VM Nov. 2024/TexasJul 28, 2025
honestly, that's weird. They are already processing and giving visas from December 2023. Something weird happened there. You should request an inquiry.
k mJul 28, 2025
@mak dely I think that is the official number 45 days, but mine was also from July 2023, the premium processing email specifically said I will get results in 15 business days. So maybe it depends on the date of filling in some cases
