I first applied & paid through this link : https://tsaenrollmentbyidemia.tsa.dhs.gov/programs/precheck?utm_campaign=WT-TSA+%7C+Enrollment+-+TIERS+1+%26+2+(NEW)+MX_Conv+%7C+POR-00349-25-00000077&utm_source=google_ads_search_direct&utm_medium=Precheck+-+T1&utm_term=tsa%20precheck&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAC_oJjJ0EJOY92myyzYn8Z7c25eEw then looked for a location close to my home address online and set up an appointment, you have to go with your Greencard, ID and SSN, they will take your fingerprints & passport photo then you answer some questions. it’s really quick. Approval is what takes time, could be weeks or months. I applied 3/2/25 it was approved 4/25/25. Once approved, TSA will issue you a Known Traveler Number (KTN) for you to use when making flight reservations. you will be able to see your status here: https://tsaenrollmentbyidemia.tsa.dhs.gov/workflows?workflow=service-status

@Deby Bee what kinda questions? can’t tell now with the new administration.

@Jim doe It’s questions to determine if you will be Eligible or disqualified. Also no refunds. Questions like have you ever been convicted, been to jail, Treason,, or espionage, murder, terrorist, robbery, assault with intent to kill.
