There is exemptions if the beneficiaries are Immediate relatives of U.S. citizens. I.e. Spouses, children under 21 and parent of U.S. citizens will not be effected by the ban only green card holders.

Immeditate family member is not included here is the exception list I-Athletes or members of an athletic team and immediate relatives, traveling for the World Cup, Olympics, or other major sporting event II-Immediate family immigrant visas. III-Adoptions. IV-Afghan Special Immigrant Visas. V-Special Immigrant Visas for United States government employees. VI-Immigrant visas for ethnic and religious minorities facing persecution in Iran.
