Trump being elected?
Will active cases be effected by Trump being let back in the white office? It’s obvious that if he were to come to power again that he would stop immigration but would people like us that are doing it the legal way and already have a case active, be effected? I mean I’ve paid for this so technically I could sue if it were to be denied right? but still it shouldn’t be a problem, correct?

stop listening to the media, if you’re doing the right thing the right way there’s no reaso. for your case to be affected. that is some serious poison if someone whose doing the right thing fears that someone who’s elected could affect their case.

he does not care about people doing the right thing and immigrating to the US legally, he cares about the illegal immigrants and criminals walking across the border in Texas and harming innocent US citizens etc, his plan to mass deport is for the illegal aliens that occupy US land. Don’t believe the media, my brother in law works for law enforcement and has noticed a massive crime increase over the past 6-12 months because of illegal immigration.

he also said he wanted a path for our immigrants that went to university here to get green cards. so he’s not against immigration. he’s against illegal immigration. and at this point in my process … SO AM I! lol.

Trump is ok with immigration as long as it is LEGAL. His wife is an immigrant herself! There is a ton of misinformation out there. You will be fine. Don’t worry 😉

Whoever here saying that trump is not against legal immigration is compeltly oblivious to the changes implemented during his last administration. YES things will change with Trump even if we’re doing things the “right way”. the first thing that will change is these fast approvals were seeing lately. Trumps past administration made is a requirement for all cases to get an interview, which delays the process. If your 485 was denied before and let’s say you overstayed your status, you were immediately put in removal proceedings. With trump there were denials because people left blank spaces instead of putting N/A. With trump ISO where more strict and many of the approvals we see now wouldn’t have happened. and a long etc of very little changes in the process that made it harder for people to do it the “right” way as well. So yeah, things will change with trump.

He is only concerned with people coming ILLEGALLY. You have nothing to worry about if you are doing it LEGALLY.
rb brJul 22, 2024
@P OP You are the one who is oblivious. He was trying to stop illegal immigration which includes fake marriages. Fake marriages are a huge issue in the US. I have no plan on voting for Trump, but I can’t sit by and watch someone telling lies on here.
russ daelJul 22, 2024
@rb br There's always a point why they must be concerned. Even if they are doing it legally, the effectiveness of USCIS on budget and its quota will be surely be affected. Restrictive borders and the "anti-immigrant" rhetoric will surely reflect on our cases through delays (what's stopping him if he replaces with his loyalist in the office of USCIS?). stop being a sucker and learn why they're concerned
P OPJul 22, 2024
@rb br I mean it’s statistics and facts you can read in USCIS page. I don’t care about Biden or trump. I’m speaking on facts I’ve read in official sites lol so yeah, a trump admin wilk agfect legal immigrations as well.

He will definitely make the process harder even if you are doing it the right way. There will be no more interviews being waived, the process will be longer, he ended the issuance of RFEs the last time straight denial Biden was the one that reversed it. If your adjustment gets denied and you’re out of status you will automatically be placed in removal proceedings it’s optional right now. If you take any public benefits it might affect citizenship and green card process etc.
Kim B 🇯🇲Jul 22, 2024
@rb br you are definitely being oblivious. check trump’s immigration policies from last term he’s anti immigrant. He wants to stop illegal immigration yes but he will definitely make the immigration process 10 times harder.

if you all read some of the divorce stories on Visa Journey you will see why some marriages need to be vetted more. The timing ⏱️ in some of these divorces are suspicious. Hence the reason why it is not unproductive to review vetting procedures for marriages.
