Travelling with AP ( I 360 and 485 is pending )

hi I have AP and I'm planning to travel for 2 weeks out of country with i360 and 485 pending. I'm coming back to jfk airport during end of December. I'm traveling out or country after 9 years I'm concerned due to new administration. how is the immigration experience at jfk. what all questions they might ask. please share your recent experience Thanks

I received my AP valid for 5 years I had relly want to visit my country I didn’t see my families is 7 years then my lawyer told me don’t worry go due to this new administration but everyone situation is different if you feel comfortable & want to go good luck 🍀

not advisable mostly with what this new administration is doing without any regards for AP or work permit.

I had traveled, in the same boat as you. last time I travel was on feb of this year and I did see a guy getting questioned left and right about his vawa case. I was terrified but I was not questioned at all so my advice to you, let God handle your affairs, carry your papers, make sure you know your basic info like DOB, address, date of divorce, info that you should know of your ex partner. make sure you are not in removal proceedings and that your case is not close to a decision date, just in case the outcome is not denial and you are out of the country. Just answer the questions if they ask you. You will be taken to secondary inspection, don’t travel with heavy baggage, don’t give them a reason to start digging around. Be safe and enjoy your trip.

@God loves you! ;) thank you for replying. I filed vawa in 2023. May I know what do you mean by removal proceedings ? could you please tell me what all documents to carry other than Advance parole and receipt number of i360 and I 485
