Travelling on an expiring conditional greencard
My spouse based conditional greencard is set to expire in aug 2024. I’ll be applying for the removal of conditions in May 2024.
I have 2 weeks of international travel plans in April 2024. I’m wondering if there would be any issues to re-enter the US in April? how close to the expiration can you still re-enter?
Insights on this would be much appreciated!

Did you get the four years extension letter? If yes, you could attach it to your green card and you should be fine. I used it last year for two international travels after my green card already expired and there was no issue

Thanks for sharing. I did it on the App "Inmigra USA" the community of Immigrants in the United States. inmigrausa.com
There are immigration lawyers and free collaborators.
Stay up to date on news of interest to the Latino community.
Search Inmigrate USA.
I chose the Florida community, it looks like they are starting now, so I recommend you choose Florida.
Busca inmigra USA el app del inmigrante, de verdad es muy buena tambien.
Thanks!!!

@Sarah S does that mean anytime before the expiring is fine, even a week?

@R B you should call the USCIS 60 days before the expiration date to get an I-551 stamp in your passport (country of origin passport). When you call, ask for infopass to schedule an appointment
