not the best time to travel because when reentering the country only the officer will decide if you're fit to enter or not with this administration..just wait for your green card to be safe

@answered prayer you good to go, my friend the new RULES applied only for DACA recipients
survivor pSep 5, 2026
@Dante K STOP spreading wrong info! On August 13, 2026, the BIA decided Matter of Delcarmen-Lara and held that travel under advance parole counts as a “departure” for purposes of the 3- and 10-year unlawful-presence bars under INA §212(a)(9)(B). Although the person in that case had DACA, the holding is written broadly and applies to advance-parole travelers generally. If you are sure that affect only DACA then provide a link or law that will confirm it.

@survivor p I don’t have to provide any link or anything. You can just go ahead on the history of the timeline of this app. You can see people just came back in this month and they have overstay also.

@Dante K bc it applies only to those ppl who left USA after August 13. Do not believe always in what people post here. every case is different and fact specific but rules are rules. I wouldn’t advice to travel to anyone who overstayed more than 180 days. every lawyer I know say the same.
