traveling with combo card
My husband recently received his combo card. we’ve been trying to get information on whether we can travel to his home country and we get 50/50 answers. We’ve called different entry ports and some will say it’s ok for him to leave to Mexico even if it’s just to visit family, some will say that some CBP officers won’t let you back into the states..
Does anyone have any experience traveling with the combo card? what’s it like?

I've traveled three times within a year without any problem. So yes your husband can travel outside the US too

yes, I travel recently and it was ok. the officer just did a secondary check on your docs and you good to go. no worries but that’s just my experience. ps l was also scared as my lawyer advise me not to travel without getting the greencard but I did it anyways.

he entered the u.s on a k-1 visa but that expired already? will that be an issue? he has everything else

He should be fine as long as he has a pending I-485 and No criminal history!
