If you have a Valid passport or Real ID you can travel within state. Just keep the I-485 receipt(Copy) with you just in case

@Poppy Ballie why would you think it is unsafe? Overstays are forgiven for spouses of US citizens. Legal entry is what matters.
There is so much hype over what Trump is doing. They are targeting criminals with records.

@Jesus is King I have made the same decision, not to apply for I-131 with my I-485 the other day. I have overstayed year after visa expiration, and my lawyer said if Trump abruptly changes anything they migh not let me in. Chance is small but nonetheless existent. After 10 years of being here i didn’t wanted to chance it.
