Traveling to Florida (DeSantis new laws)
Hello everyone, I gave an EAD card while I wait for vawa to process. Can I go to Florida on this card with the new laws they have in place for immigrants traveling instead of using my state drivers license? I want to go on vacation but if it’s a risk to go their right now I’d rather not. Thanks for all the help!

Not sure why people are making such a big deal of this Florida Law. Immigration is exclusively Federal. The Florida Legislature passed an illegal law, thereby usurping the powers of the Federal Govt. That law will not affect you in anyway. The law albeit illegal was passed to curtail illegal immigration. You are not an illegal immigrant and you have certain right based on your present status. No one, and I repeat no one in Florida or anywhere within the US can hold, incarcerate or deport you, unless you have committed a crime.
