Traveling outside USA with Green card
I want to travel outside USA with my approved green card but I don't know how safe it is with the new administration.
Anybody traveled out recently, please share your experience when coming back in.
Thank you.

Yes. I know many who have gone and come back in. I understand there is a lot of worry but please don’t let it prevent you from living your life. you should be able to come back in safely

if you can't travel with a green card, which other documents can you use? Just make sure you have not committed a crime

oh thanks guys. I was concerned because of people getting detained and all that.

@Mr. Green The only factor that can render a Green Card ineffective for reentry into the U.S. after your trip is a criminal record. This is non-negotiable under the current administration.

as long as you have a clean record, you’re perfectly fine. also. don’t be gone for a long period of time. enjoy, relax and have fun! you are more than deserving.

@Mr. Green if you are from Venezuela or your country is on the preliminary travel ban list, please avoid traveling for now.
However, if your country is not currently on that list and you have no criminal record, you should be fine—travel is as safe as usual.
Just make sure to return within 3 months to avoid any potential issues.
