traveling out of the country with form I-131 in 2025
Has anyone traveled somewhere out of the country in the past couple of month holding a Advance Parole card under a VAWA case? I was given a Cruise Vacation for my birthday and my travel dates are in December. I have Advanced Parole and have no criminal records, I am a nursing student and have no legal problems but I am scared of traveling and getting denied entry. Can someone share their experiences please

life is a risk and simple if you want to go just go if you dont want to take the risk dont go trust me i searched a lot about traveling i did and back no problem so totally up to you

depending on where you’re traveling to then you will need to apply for a visa if not you’re home country or united state

I did travel with my AP last year no problem at all when I got back from JFK.

Ok just an update for those who are planning to travel on advance parole. I just got cleared after 3 hours of secondary check at Washington IAD airport. They don’t see anything on me but won’t still let me go. A lot of interrogations and then they request to check my phones. They were on my phones for about an hour after which they returned the phones and let me go. There’re another lady at the secondary inspection they might likely take to detention because I met her there. I’m not sure if she on VAWA because they were asking for the husband name and she couldn’t even spell it.

@Mighty Popson had you traveled before? I travel out of the country twice a year almost every year, do you think that could influence anything?
