Hello vawa family, has anyone recently traveled using their advanced parole through vawa?

I-131 & I-765 both approved January 04, 2025

traveled July 2025 and February 2026 without any issues they just took my passport and combo card did fingerprint and stamp my passport was out in less than 20 mins btw I used charlotte for my first trip and Miami international for my 2nd trip .

my Freind just come back 3 days ago from Africa with combo card at Jfk we are in the ban country too but don’t worry if you don’t have any bad record you free to travel

I got my travel authorization in 2024 through the VAWA, but I never had the courage to use it. Now, however, I have a health problem in the family and I really want to go. But I still afraid.

@Amelia s if you never seeked asylum if you dont have criminal background you will regret in the future that you haven’t visited your family. I’ve used my AP like 8 times

dream chaser even me i over stay but I travel twice first one was with Ethiopian and the second one Turkish the first time they ask me a question about my trip and how I got the combo card and the second time they didn’t ask anything just to confirm address

yes twice different experience I came from Nigeria January 21 th 2026 I spent 1 month they keep asking me questions for like 6 hours ! they ask tell me to go sit down then call me again it was terrible experience! they collected my phone later they allowed me to come in ! but 2025 was so smooth !

@dream chaser AP is not based on vawa, you are eligible for it bcoz you have a pending i 485.

@God’s daughter I had similar experience when I traveled to Nigeria last year September. I was delayed for over 2 hours and my phone was collected and searched.
