Yes, I used my Advance Parole recently. I left on August 2nd and returned on August 17th through John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). I’ve always traveled with Advance Parole without any issues, and they usually just asked standard questions, but this time the questioning was much more intense upon arrival. In the end, they let me in without a problem, but they asked detailed questions about my VAWA case: when I got married, when I got divorced, and what happened during the relationship. They also asked for my lawyer's name, as they are checking if lawyers are on any lists for fraud investigation. My advice if you plan to travel: if your case is legitimate, your record is clean, and everything is in order, you shouldn't have any issues. Just make sure to bring all your documents with you, as well as your lawyer's contact information.
