travel with vawa green card
hope everyone is doing good.
I wanted to share my travel experience on vawa Green Card.
I just got back to US after one month vacations. my immigration was done at abu dhabi airport because i had connecting flight and I wasn’t asked any questions it was smooth. when i arrived at the airport in US i just went straight to baggage claim and exit after that.

after getting your GC you are free to fly anywhere without any problem

you are lucky, lot of people being deported from Abu Dhabi. for VAWA applicants better to avoid Etihad and Kuwait airlines

@waiting_since Jan_2020 this doesn’t make any sense. how will abu dhabi or Kuwait officials know the person got their green card through vawa? other countries don’t have access to US data. It’s only US officials that can see what route the person got their green card through. please don’t let’s spread false news

@Raj Maheta which green card holder have you seen their country not allowing them to leave? does it make any sense at all? does their country know different route of getting green card? Green card is green card anywhere. it’s only within the USA that it has different categories.

this administration can do anything wether you or gc holder citizen vawa. etc I ts not about country or airline even though your imigration is in abudabi all official inside are USA cbp. they have access of all data how you got gc and all
people say abudabi imigration is tough they will roast. and i heard even gc holders with vawa green card got deported after arriving USA
