I think if it is your first time, they might take you to secondary, but I am not sure. Let us know if you travel and tell us about your experience. Also, always check with your attorney and follow their advice.

Interesting, I wonder if people are randomly selected! If you travel, just be cautious and prepare so it doesn't catch you by surprise.

I came back last week, no issues. I have never been sent to secondary inspection. I have always had smooth entries, 1 minute or less. Got my green card through VAWA early last year.

I travelled with my green card last year for the first time, spent about 1 month outside.. came back in October and entered through jfk.
