travel with expired green card
Has anyone experience traveling with an expired green card? I have a conditional green card and I am bound to pick up my son in the Phippines next month. I filed an extension and was given the i797 notice of action for 48 months. Is that letter enough for reentry in Asia?

By presenting your amended receipt notice with your expired Green Card, you remain authorized to work and travel for 24 months from the expiration date on the front of your expired Green Card.Mar 30, 2023
